The 2014 Annual Conference offered an exciting line-up of speakers, workshops, and events to more than 700 participants, organized into six tracks:
Board Track - providing the knowledge, vision, leadership skills and evaluative tools to necessary for board members to champion community impact
Civil Track – workshops to address traditional and emerging trends in the delivery of civil legal aid
Client Track – training in the skills and role of the lay advocate
Defender Track – workshops covering a range of topics to help defender programs meet their clients’ needs
Fundraising Track – workshops covering the range from the nuts and bolts of development work and relationship building to the best social media platforms to reach donors
Joint Civil & Defender Track – workshops addressing topics that are of interest to more than one of the above categories or are generally applicable to many audiences, including communications, risk management, and technology
