The eDiscovery Specialist works under the supervision of the Legal Manager, providing complex technical ESI support in State and Federal civil litigations as well as government investigations. This position will work alongside other eDiscovery staff consisting of the Legal Manager, an eDiscovery Attorney, and another eDiscovery Analyst. The Specialist uses powerful discovery review software tools and is issued a department laptop and smartphone. The Specialist will continuously learn in the rapidly developing field of Electronic Discovery and help grow CRD’s capabilities. Applicants should be attentive to fine details, be familiar with legal terminology and law office practices, and understand the importance of deadlines. CRD employees are privy to high profile case information and should exercise discretion and sensitivity in handling work product and evidence.
This job classification is represented by the SEIU 1000, bargaining unit 1. Successful passing of a one-year probationary period will grant permanent civil service status.
