Legal Services of North Florida has an opening for a Victims' Rights Attorney in our Pensacola office. Work for a non-profit law firm, with 75+ employees in five offices across North Florida, that seeks legal justice while understanding the value of work-life balance.
This staff attorney will provide legal representation to victims of crime, with a focus on victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking, and dating violence. Work will include significant court representation, coordination of resources with community partners, and community outreach and education.
Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience. Entry level salary of $50,000. Comprehensive fringe benefits package includes: paid holidays, paid sick leave, and paid vacation (starts at 2.4 weeks and after two years, increases to five weeks per year). After sixty days of full-time employment,100% coverage for health insurance for employee & dependent children. Additional voluntary options of term life, disability insurance, spouse coverage, and retirements plans are also available. Employer contributes 6% to retirement plans after one year of employment.
Applicants should be a member of The Florida Bar, with preference given to candidates with clinical or legal aid experience. Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills, be comfortable with office technology and able to learn electronic case management system. Ability to work independently and in team environments to obtain results to positively impact the legal needs of clients in our community.
