CHIEF DISCLOSURE OFFICER

Whistleblower Aid is seeking to hire a Chief Disclosure Officer, a full-time position based out of our Washington, DC, headquarters. The Chief Disclosure Officer will report to our CEO.

All candidates must be practicing lawyers admitted in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Candidates should have at least 15 years of legal experience.

Responsibilities include:

Serve as lead counsel for scores of at-risk individual whistleblowers from government agencies and private corporations, in the United States and around the world
Investigate and file lawful disclosures with law enforcement agencies, Inspectors General and Congress that generate impactful investigations and enforcement actions
Prevent and defend retaliation and security clearance disputes, including through litigation in a range of courts and administrative agencies
Recruit and manage direct-report legal staff, teams of co-counsel, investigators and paralegals, and collaborate with advocacy partners
Cultivate media coverage and relationships to advance client disclosures
Implement state-of-the-art security protocols to protect staff and clients
Infrequent domestic and international travel and
Other duties as necessary
Competitive salary commensurate with experience with best-in-class benefits including, 401K and unlimited paid time off. Hybrid/remote work schedule can be considered. Annual salary range $200K - 275K. A comprehensive background check will be required before any offer is extended.

DEPUTY CHIEF DISCLOSURE OFFICER

Whistleblower Aid is seeking to hire a Deputy Chief Disclosure Officer, a full-time position based out of our Washington, DC, headquarters. Deputy will report to the Chief Disclosure Officer.

All candidates must be practicing lawyers admitted in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Candidates should have at least 10 years of legal experience.

Requirements: 

- 10+ years of legal experience for Deputy Chief Disclosure Officer
- 15+ years of legal experience for Chief Disclosure Officer
