Position Description: 

JOB DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this position is to review, recommend charges and prosecute cases from assignment to final disposition by trial or guilty plea. Assignments include a high volume of criminal misdemeanor and traffic cases in addition to assigned felonies under the supervision of a felony attorney. This position may be assigned to the criminal, bad check or child support unit. The work is performed under the supervision of the Assistant Prosecuting Attorney III.

Requirements: 

Education
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and Missouri license to practice law.
Certifications/License
Missouri Law license
Job Experience
One year prosecution experience preferred, or four years general law practice experience preferred.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Prefer considerable prosecution experience.
Employment is contingent on successfully passing a full criminal background check.

Salary range: 
Min: $64,880.05-Mid: $80,596.34
